Similar to placards stating “Behead those who say Islam is a violent religion”…No irony meter on the planet could withstand that..

  2. Vedran says:

Now I love them irony meters even more than before! 🤣

  3. Ignatz Pseudonym Laripu says:

How’s your new Manchester PM working out? Too soon to tell? Will he outlast a lettuce?

And will Farage win or lose to a bin? (If I could vote in the UK, I’d support the bin.)

  4. M27Holts says:

Just another deck chair arranger on the deck of the titanic, snd he is a scouser who became Mayor of Manchester and Supports Everton F.C so he aint no Manc…

  5. postdoggerel says:

Why can’t you Brits restore Steve Bell? Who would willfully want to ban his asshat caricatures?

  6. Ignatz Pseudonym Laripu says:

postdoggerel, in response to your question
“Why can’t you Brits restore Steve Bell? Who would willfully want to ban his asshat caricatures?”

… how about the aforementioned F***ge:

(Thinking about these things is avoidance: so I don’t think about the horror show in the US.)

  7. James Strong says:

You have no good reason to believe that Farage would want to ban insulting cartoons about him. Remember, it is not Reform UK that wanted to cancel council elections. It is not Reform UK that supports the ridiculous and dishonestly named On Line Safety Act. You may well oppose Farage’s politics, but to claim, suggest or hint that he is in favour of censorship is not justifiable.

  8. M27Holts says:

Farage is stupidly christian nationalist. But only to garner his white christian support. I am no supporter of any religious post-enlightenment knob-sprocket. But unfortunately my MP is a roman catholic…I want all MP’s to be secular…

  9. postdoggerel says:

Thanks, Ignatz, for the Steve Bell link. The world, it seems, has gone to hell. If you don’t think so, see Steve Bell.

  10. Ignatz Pseudonym Laripu says:

    James Strong:
I also have no good reason to believe that Farage wouldn’t want to ban insulting cartoons about him. Farage is the kind of twat that would make me leave a get-together if he showed up. I hope count binface wipes the floor with him.

And that detestable pussy Rees-Moggie is another one.

  11. M27Holts says:

The problem I have with the modern Zeitgeist is the absolute double values applied to abuse. You can say anything you like to white middle aged men and nothing is off the table, which is fair enough because you can say what you like to me and I would absolutely support your right to point out any number of personal flaws I have accumulated over 60 odd years of existance. But todays snowflakes have less backbone than a jellyfish…I will not watch the BBC anymore (non sport) because it’s ridiculously biased and politically correct agenda…

  12. M27Holts says:

And as for politicians, they are all, with no exceptions absolute boiling pots of pure unadulterated bullshit, I wouldn’t vote for any of the devious coniving fookers…

  13. Ignatz Pseudonym Laripu says:

    M27Holts:
If you don’t vote for any of them, you should still vote against some of them. Lesser of two evils: it’s truly a real thing.

The Stones sang, in the 60s, “a parade of the gray suited grafters, a choice of cancer or polio”, but it’s not. It’s more often a choice between cancer and arthritis.

Trust me, I live in Metastatic Trumpylvania. I’d be much happier with the arthritis than with the cancer.
