They say… It’s “antisemitic” to criticize Netanyahu. But there are plenty of Jews criticizing Netanyahu.
My opinions:
– Netanyahu is a variant of Trump, trying to stay out of prison on corruption charges. He’s a right wing hack, and he’s catering to horrible extreme right wing people. (Itamar Ben-Gvir is a prime example.) That will hurt Israel badly in the long run.
– Hamas hurts their own people in the short term and in the long term. Waging war from underneath hospitals and schools is guaranteed to cause damage and death to civilians and children. They used UN aid meant for economic development to build up the offensive capability that is now mostly destroyed. They wasted their future.
The worst people on each side of that conflict need each other. They each demonstrate a need to the population for the other’s violent extremism.
Netanyahu is horrible, but it isn’t just him. Israel has been turning in a malignant direction for years, and it has a lot to do with religion. Maybe it’s time for a new character. Or maybe it would be funny to see Moses come up with a way to explain all this as though it were consistent with the modern, civilized democracy we like to think Israel is.
Why oh why are religions revered? Put your stupid religions in the bin where they belong and lets just get on with arguing about who’s sports team is best?
Two years ago, I had a fever of 39° and took a Tramadol. For the next two hours, I couldn’t think of anything other than the fact that everything in this universe can be called nothing but love.
When I had Cauda Equina and before it was diagnosed (because the female G.P didnt push her finger up my bum like she should have done) I was taking Tramadol and Gabapentin like they were toffees and spent six weeks higher than a kite and I was experiencing halucinations and spontaneous orgasm’s with ejaculation (a side effect of gabapentin). I was scanned and told to go straight to AnE where a consultant did the correct checks and I was rushed into theatre for spine decompression surgery. But the pain killer experience is one that I would have enjoyed more if I hadn’t been in so much pain…

Racist? Culturalist perhaps. But as for sexual abuse, a lot of Rabbis indulge in practices that are definately abuse. And the main gist of the old testamenr is god revealing himself as a protector of the jews, his chosen people. Are you too stupid not to realise that?
“A lot of Rabbis . . .” really? 5? 500? More or fewer than Catholic priests or dodgy Imams, or everyday atheist paedophiles? Nonsense. And yes, the Old Testament is obviously dodgy, otherwise we wouldn’t be here laughing at it. However, “thinking they are God’s chosen children” is a sentiment that is common in antisemitic discourse, where its meaning is deliberately at odds with Judaism’s own interpretation. There are plenty of religious behaviours to criticise without crossing lines – which you are, even if it’s not intended.

Tramadol makes me vomit repeatedly. And then sleep for hours, after which I’m woozy for a while.
Strangely I have only been sick three times in my whole 60 years of existance. All caused by red wine inebriation…
