Still under canvass. This one was from February 2006.
“Surely you agree that is a stEp forward”?
Nah! Spell checks are one example of stuff that is not better
How about “pining” rather than “pinning”?
Personally, I am concerned about the asylum seekers who eat hamsters.
Ah, yes. That makes more sense. I thought asylum seekers were eating someone’s hams.
Yeah, I’d rather have an Xbox than some frankincense. Just speaking for myself.
“These days, we’ve got so much better stuff.”
Oh, I don’t know…
Could web ‘surfing’, IMing, and e-mailing with people all around the world possibly be more fun than watching the goat chewing the grass? I mean: Really!!
If you are not quite where you want to be, then you have to wait, until the bus “is a stop forward” of where it is, now!
Jesus Christ Almighty! What a farrago of typographicals this week turned out to be. Thanks to everyone who pointed them out.
Honestly, you go away for a few days and everything goes to pot. I am very sorry. There will be a full inquiry into this. Heads will roll.
Or at least eyes!
Elmo you might prefer an xbox to frankincense but what about the gold/frankincense and myrrh bundle deal?
Though let’s face it, it hangs heavily on how much gold.
I do hope the author isn’t getting too p***ed on.
Well we could postulate as to which “pot” he is referring to. But the inspiration for this strip must come from somewhere.
too bad that Mo doesn’t recogize that some of the important better stuff is critical thinking, scientific method and understanding of nature as natural
I don’t mind gold, but if I had some, I’d just use it to buy another Xbox. So, yeah.
Hey author…. looks like the Lord of Misrule has been interfering with the spelling while you’ve been camping. You could try sacrificing a goat to him.
If I remember my Dennis Wheatley books correctly, this ritual is best carried out by an unfrocked Catholic priest within a magic pentacle, and it should be followed by an orgy.
@Stephen Turner – you really think I haven’t already tried that?
This interested me, and would probably interest at least some JaMers. It cuts to the heart of what we enjoy and why we fall out:
@ Daoloth – that is one of my many web haunts. Usually some pretty good stuff on that site….
I am a Muslim and the reason why i am angry is this :
This is NOT how Mohammed looks like.
He looks like some ugly Indian.
Since this is not offensive i dont mind , but at least
tell the truth.
He did not have an unibrow! In fact hes eyebrows were one of hes prettiest features.
They should look a like because they are the same race.
(Jesus was Syrian(pbuh) and Mohammed (pbuh)was a Meccan).
And why this ridiculous tulband?
The clothes should be the same – they come from the same culture.
And why they should have an Iphone in the year 0?
Japs did not exist at that time (at least we the Arabs and sandpeople did not find them)
That seems like a pretty silly thing to get angry about, Ayame.
@ Ayame. He wears many costumes. I have recently seen his, rather fetching, teddy bear outfit, for example.
Maybe you could do a drawing of what Mohammed looks like …
@Ayame – This is not a depiction of Muhammed, this is merely a “stunt” double. ANd for any of us who have seen a “stunt” double in action often do not look anything like the person they are standing in for. Also it’s just a frickin cartoon….
Aaahhh, better stuff. It may not be paradise but we really get to have it. Also, I heard that the new gizmo2.4(TM) is going to come with a decent paradise emulator.
Ayame illustrates an interesting point about the trouble of depicting Mo: if he’s too ugly, or ethnically derivative of another brown tribe, or has shabby clothes, people will freak out that they aren’t honoring him enough.
Would a turbaned, bearded Waleed Abdullah suffice, O Muslims? He’s cute and fit.
