Love these cartoons. Put light on something so made up and serious.

  2. miked says:

Shouldn’t these two gentlemen be a bit more socially distanced?
This isn’t Soho or Bournemouth beech or Florida even.

  3. raymondm says:

I’m with Jesus on this one.

  4. DocAtheist says:

Gotta luv how the barmaid puts it!

  5. Walter Walcarpit says:

    Miked poses an interesting point.
First up, like Trump they surely get tested daily and anyone that gets near gets tested first.
Second, they have ready access to miracle cures so can be presumed to immediately self heal.
Finally they are both dead so they can’t carry the virus.
    Oh, wait.
    One is not.
And the other is a body double.
    Get them masked!

  6. Padre says:

Quantum mechanics is a fave of the pseudo-science crowd: yes, I am looking at you Dr. Chopra. “Spooky action at a distance” (entanglement) is a nice little gap to squeeze mystical crap into. Though, the gaps keep getting smaller.

I am curious, your email said “Help the lads pay their hefty bar bill by becoming a Patron”: doesn’t Jesus do that 5K trick with their beer? But I suppose, they should render unto Caesar…

    Keep up the good work!

  7. Jveeds says:

The quarkiest episode ever! Wait a minute…I just had an epiphany: God is a quark!

  8. ego says:

panel 4… if you set out to do a microcosm of the entire strip, i doubt you could capture it more precisely than this.

who does a guy gotta resurrect around here to get that on a t-shirt?

  9. postdoggerel says:

    Cop to physicist speeder:
“Sir, do you know how fast you were going?”
“No, sir, but I know where i am.

  10. jb says:

I don’t understand this, and I don’t understand that; it therefore follows that this and that must be connected somehow!

  11. James R. Baerg says:

    Jveeds:
    Quarks come in trinities!
    It all makes sense now.

  12. Troubleshooter says:

Quantum behavior isn’t miraculous. Like every other phenomenon in this reality, it follows RULES. Unusual rules, to be certain, but once understood, it is as predictable as any other phenomenon.

Meantime, Yahweh behaves any way he darn well pleases and we’re supposed to buy into THAT crap? No. Thank. You.

  13. Dr John the Wipper says:

    Troubleshooter:
it is as predictable as any other phenomenon.
Make that: by far the MOST predictable of ANY phenomenon! (by orders of millions to billions)

  14. jb says:

Actually quantum behavior is not predictable at all. Only the probabilities are predictable, which is a different thing. Scientists who think about this (many or most scientists pointedly do not!) find it disturbing, but nobody has been able to come up with a more satisfying description of reality.

  15. Dr John the Wipper says:

    jb:
This now is a matter of strict semantics.
Quantum behavior is not predictable, but quantum phenomena, which may be roughly taken to be the statistics of the probabilities of the behavior, is. And THAT is VERY accurately predictable!

  16. Dr John the Wipper says:

    Sorry for the wrong-formatted end-of-bold…..

  17. Mark Joseph says:

    @jb:
As the old saying goes, probability is the only thing that gets more and more true, the more you try to disprove it!
