  1. …punishment than reward. (Although “punishment then reward” would also work, and would frankly be a much more appealing theology).

  3. I am currentlty on Holiday in Benidorm. A lot of itsy bitsy bikinis and lots of appealing flesh on show…but even more less appealing beer-bellies on show…Not a burka in sight….

There’s some truth in that.

I moved to Florida from Montreal in 1997. In 2018 I wrote this for my former colleagues up north:

It gave them a laugh. I think they liked the idea of an Anglo writing in French.

  5. Yes! We have no bananas
    We have no bananas today
    Yes! We have no ba-na-nas
    No ba-na-nas in Is-lam-ic hades.

    …

    I’ll get my coat.

And go apologize to Harry Chapin…

  6. Jesus: are you sure there are no bananas in hell?
Mo: can you spell dog as in dogmatic?
    Jesus: d-o-g
Mo: spell cat as in catechism.
    Jesus: c-a-t
Mo: Spell f as in bananas.
Jesus: there is no f in bananas.
Mo: that’s what I’ve been saying all along.

  7. We all would be better off if Eve had eaten a banana instead of an apple, but she probably never considered that bananas could be eaten…
