This is off topic, but patrons of the Cock & Bull might enjoy the segment of the March 5, 2024 episode of The Daily Show where Ronny Chieng interviews Yuval Noah Harari (historian and author of Sapiens). The part about religion and Artificial Intelligence runs from 21:16 to 22:49. One source of the video is

For those of us who have zero knowledge of Gaelic, what does Whale Oil Beef Hooked mean, postdoggerel? And what kind of Gaelic is it? I don’t want to say it if it will incite a bar fight!

two cents’ worth, it’s kinda like when I was skiing one day in rock hard icy terrain and found myself at a stand still directly above a ski-lift tower on a steep slope, and nothing but concrete hard ice everywhere. I said, out loud, “Goddamnit, I don’t want to be here.” Then, from above, came a voice saying, “Go through it fast.” That made sense, and I am here to recount it. So, about the Gaelic part I can only say I knew a Welsh girl who taught me some of her language. I can recite it verbatim today.

Gaelic? Well I’ll be fucked then…
