hotrats, I may not be sending my best since acquiring Trump Derangement Syndrome. Here is a sample of my post-Brexit doggerel.
at the cock and bull, on fleeting occasions,
you’ll hear talk of navier-stokes equations.
blokes ponder viscosity
with strokes of precocity,
and abrasions oft preempt dissuasions.
the barmaid says “knock it off, blokes,
we’ve banned speaking of navier-stokes,
and politics and religion,
not even a smidgen,
and nothing that goads or provokes”.
the blokes abandoned their precocity,
forgot temperature, pressure, velocity,
and began to regale
over beer nuts and ale
but of math there was a great paucity.
confutational fluid dynamics
will get engineers out of their hammocks
to peer over the stern
where the white waters churn,
and get back to their heuristic antics.
