Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence! I love when religious people try to puzzle out faith logically. They either need to use logic and become atheist or just go ahead and have faith in something both unseen and irrational.
That’s why I prefer Greek mythology, which doesn’t tie itself up in theological knots. Homer’s heros have a totally sucky time, and you don’t find them expecting Zeus to be benign …
