Quite true, but the point is that Jesus has uttered the Shahadah with intent, making him a Muslim. He hasn’t changed gods, just religions, and he’s still a prophet himself, of course.
Maltese is usually treated as a separate language nowadays, partly because it does not have modern standard Arabic as its elevated form.

Funny, I was just watching an episode of The Atheist Experience in which they were discussing an article by a theist who (said he) tried putting himself in an atheist mindset to see what it was like. After thirty seconds, he got so scared by the lack of an afterlife that he switched back.
