Reminds me of one of those self referential definitions:
- A cult is a small, unpopular religion.
- A religion is a large, popular cult.

I once read that a “Religion” is a ‘cult’ with enough money and power to keep the government off its’ back, while a “Cult” is a ‘religion’ without enough money and power to do so.
