Interesting – but it seems that many commenters have fallen for the logical fallicy. A dummy/pacifier does indeed comfort (Jeez and Mo are initially wrong to deny it in the strip), but it’s for babies/immature people etc.. Religion comforts too, therefore it’s for babies/immature people etc.. By the same logic, however, anything that comforts should be eliminated (a kind word, a gift, a smile, chocolate, spending time with friends etc.).
Hey ppl, it’s probably best to ignore (or at least not be distracted by) “your fucker”. Alas, free speech.

Quran’s description of how clouds form should be read out as though a 4year old said it:

And from that one line ‘Your Fucker’ says that pulls together all the scientific work carried out in the past few centuries to explain in detail how clouds form and hence beats science cos god told us before that.

Of course, it could have been written by someone looking into the sky while on some wierd shit, man. and just wrote down what they saw.

If he/she had been able to overcome their prejudices and fact check, they might have realised that mountains, far from stabilising tectonic regions, are usually found along plate boundaries (along with volcanoes) and are therefore more likely to be associated with earthquakes than not.
