Discussion (31)¬

  1. COVIZAPIBETEFOKY says:

    you fucker

    /too obvious

  2. Beggar's Belief says:

    Ha ha ha. Brilliant.
“Have you not seen how God makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a stack, and then you see the rain come out of it?.” Pretty scientific observation, that.

And the 3 meanings for 1 word “alaqah”, all with tenuous links to an embryo- very handy. I’m guessing this is a solely Quranic rather than modern Arabic word; many of which have been subsequently ‘defined’ within the Tafsir based on context alone.

If only he could have revealed the essence of quantum mechanics all those years ago, instead of dubious garbled rubbish, with a lot of fear thrown in for good measure. Oh don’t tell me- it’s in there somewhere right?

  3. Jerry w says:

Why does Mo automatically think that the writer is a “Mr. Fucker”?
The writer could just as easily be a “Mother Fucker”, eh?

  4. KrateKraig says:

    Hilarious!
your fucker certainly is a a busy little fucker.
I love the first two comments after his “rant”.
    Priceless.

  5. greyvity says:

I’m from Brunei, and well, this is embarrassing, hilarious and annoying at the same time. What’s he doing here at J&M anyway looking at images –oh, body double, I beg your pardon ^_^ –of Mo? Surely that is already a one-way ticket to hell. Delusional self-righteous git. Nice work indeed, Mr Fucker. What a way to show your ignorance.

I love this site author, please keep up the good work! 8Db

  6. keeyop says:

Holey [sic] shit! those posts, or “pastes” could be fodder for another year’s worth of comics.

Yet another example of quranic truth!: …For it is in many ways that we see clay turning into a leech, chewed up, and spat out!

    Way to leech, y.f.!

  7. Mow Mow says:

And yet every day in Iraq there are Muslims (Sunni) killing other Muslims (Shi’ite) for not being Muslim enough. Nice work, Fuckers!

  8. Jon B says:

    Bwahahah!

“Mountains also play an important role in stabilizing the crust of the earth. They hinder the shaking of the earth”

That would explain that big earthquake in Chile, where of course there are no mountains. Oh, hang on….

  9. Postman says:

Hmmm… Mr./Ms./Mother/Senhor Fucker has provided a number of nuanced arguments. I’m convinced. From here on out, in a gesture of solidarity, you may refer to me as “Postman Fucker”.

  10. Doug says:

Mr. Fucker must be unaware that the clipboard is an atheist-Satan conspiracy.

  11. blueshifter says:

Wow, ‘your fucker’s watertight, cogent, unassailable arguments have turned me from a going-on-25-years atheist into a devout muslim! i mean, come on! how can you possibly argue with all that? the mountain pegs? the leeches? as-salamu alaykum, y’all!

  12. Submoron says:

This is the first time I’ve been prevented from seeing J & M at work. I hope that it’s only the language that got it blocked.

  13. nina says:

I will never get tired of the lack of an irony metre that the godbots have

  14. Stephen Turner says:

Empty vessels make most sound. Have you ever noticed that the more preposterous a religious belief, the more dearly it’s held? There seems to be something to explain there. At some level they may actually know that it makes no sense at all, but they can’t cope with that possibility, and the contradiction manifests itself as fanaticism.

  15. nina says:

spreading religion by the Word or the Sword is pretty much common to all of them, well, all the big really successful ones.

and yes, the weirder the belief the harder the clinging to it – sort of like kids who give more consideration to the absent or abusive parent than the one who was kindly and stayed with them – that’s the one they can take for granted, while they have to show devotion to the one who’s abusive or gone.

  16. I find it funny that many of the religious people that ‘cut & paste proselytize’ use some very un-religious nicknames. I had a christian commenter on my blog that went by hotrod4urhole. I never could figure that one out.

Very funny cartoon, BTW. I love Jesus and Mo! Oh yeah! That bartender is hawt! LOL

  17. Neil Hoskins says:

    Fucking “A”, man.

  18. steve says:

I’m a little slow on the uptake and this is probably glaringly obvious to others, but did he perhaps mean “you’re fucker” as in “you are a fucker”.

I am compelled by the force of his arguments.

  19. author says:

@Robert Madewell – A Christian apologist calling himself “hotrod4urhole”? That is very, very funny.

@steve – I think he means to say “the one who fucks you,” but I could be wrong.

  20. Anonym says:

“I believe because it is absurd.” – Tertullian

In other words, what cannot be defended logically can/must be ‘believed’.

  21. Intelligent Designer says:

@steve: My pet theories are that s/he sees themselves as some kind of righteous harbinger, and the name is a little like ‘your nemesis’ – the one who is going to fuck up your cosy life of impiety. Because of course swearing is only impious if you’re not REALLY righteous with it. Righteous swearing is the holy weapon of Allah’s discussion-board stormtroopers, sanctioned by him in [4:148] “GOD does not like the utterance of bad language, unless one is treated with gross injustice.” i.e. anyone expressing disagreement with Islam.

My second theory is that he dint never go 2 skool proply, and ment 2 rite “You’re fucked” but endid up fuckin himsef over insted. Wicked ironic justice!

  22. Stephen Turner says:

Well, if your parents name you “your fucker”, what do you expect?

  23. Miika H says:

    Patois, straight outta “Flame Warriors”.

  24. Proud Kuffar says:

Religionauts: I truly despise them. No end to their folly and wickedness!

  25. cina murtad says:

i don’t get it. what’s the point? really, this one i can’t understand. pls illuminate.

  26. Daoloth says:

Wow. Should we be laughing at this guy? I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable- it’s like laughing at David Icke or other clearly deranged people…oh go on then.

  27. John The Geologist says:

Daoloth – you know full well that we should be pissing ourselves at this stupidity and the crass dumbness of YF.

Laughing at David Icke is listed as one of my hobbies in Who’s Who.

I am a firm believer in mocking those with chronic rationality deficiency (which I suppose is the main reason I love J&M).

(PS – a lifetime of infidel drinking has shot my memory to bits. Are you the Butterflies and Wheel person ??)

  28. Daoloth says:

    @ John the Geologist
Ophelia Benson is the scholar you want for Butterflies & Wheels, not me- sorry.
As to the rest- I guess you are right- its not mocking the afflicted when the afflicted are the majority

  29. crispyhalalpork says:

Thats a real persuasive argument YF had, albeit cut’n’paste.. Almost got me there hahha! hmm from that oil-rich state in asia? Reminds me of these pretentious cherrypickers i knew from there who were trying to save me from hell and ‘murtad’ness. I grew up there, not much of freedom of speech, a lot of ‘don’t ask those questions’ because they’re not exactly that knowledgable about a religion they follow blindly. So much for progress of an inquisitive individual ha ha.
Love this comic! Keeps me sane enough to laugh at how the ridiculous lengths some go to!

  30. Does the sophisticated and urbane commenter not realize that its chosen nom de plume leaves it wide open to rude questions like ‘Is “your” short for “goat”?’ and ‘Whatsamatta, YF, can’t you spell “mother”?’ and the like?

  31. Don't Kill Me says:

I’d like to make more fun of Muslims, Baptists, Catholics and the rest, but they scare me.

I’m okay with those that choose a faith as a way of guiding their personal life. But when they insist on imposing their faith on others they become an enemy to freedom. My desire for freedom have no impact on those who claim the ability to interpret the desire of their all-powerful invisible friend and his corresponding magic book.

Even scarier is the Republican’s reliance on these folks for power. “When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross.” — Sinclair Lewis
