I don't think I ever actually saw "thou shalt not rape a 7 year old boy" anywhere in the bible... But I think the pope's onto something... As long as they could just goof around and rape some boys and do some chores, it was a wonderful life for these pedophiles... But if they actually have to be actively religious to be involved with this religion it might just be too much trouble. Though I think mandatory castration for priests would be another way to go. Something appealing about a bunch of eunichs running around in their robes praying and chanting and not raping boys...
