Sorry “yourfucker” you lost me at the “stupid ppl” bit, can you elaborate a bit on how scientists have proved the koran to be true. Perhaps you could link us to the relevant papers, that is if you are not too busy being offended or have dismembered yourself and others in your quest to have, no doubt consensual sex with 72 virgins (presumably underage following the profit (sic) may his name be razed).

I don’t know why I ever bothered going to university to study that hard stuff about rock’n'mountains’n'meteorology.

YF has explained everything with simplicity and elegance.

I am off to buy a Koran if I can get PX for my geology textbooks.

Author, I would take a wild stab in the dark and assume that you are not particularly religious. You do however have the patience of a saint. I would have deleted the mad ramblings of YF.

Quran’s description of how clouds form should be read out as though a 4year old said it:

Have you not.err..seen how…umm..God…hee hee…makes the clouds move gently an an then joins them together and then…and then…then makes them into a stack…urrr…annnnndddd…oh.Timmy you stink!!….and then you see the wain come out of it…and you get wet if you carn get into the house an you mum tells you off…I take my umbwella with me so I don get wet…(Quran, 24:43)

And from that one line ‘Your Fucker’ says that pulls together all the scientific work carried out in the past few centuries to explain in detail how clouds form and hence beats science cos god told us before that.

Of course, it could have been written by someone looking into the sky while on some wierd shit, man. and just wrote down what they saw.

If he/she had been able to overcome their prejudices and fact check, they might have realised that mountains, far from stabilising tectonic regions, are usually found along plate boundaries (along with volcanoes) and are therefore more likely to be associated with earthquakes than not.
